One World Italiano - Guided Learning Programme is a 12-month programme tailored to your needs to help you reach your Italian goals.

It brings together all the resources developed over nearly 25 years of One World Italiano: the professional expertise of our teachers, the clarity and effectiveness of Veronica’s video courses, and the guidance of our academic team.

This programme is designed for learners who:

  • love Italy and want to speak with confidence, interacting naturally with Italians in everyday situations
  • are expats, or planning to move to Italy, and need steady, consistent progress over time

  • work in Italy or with Italians

  • are international students who are spending, or will spend, a period of study in Italy

  • are members of a religious community and live in, or are moving to, Italy

  • need to prepare for exams to obtain Italian citizenship or a residence permit.

How the programme works

  • Personalised learning plan

A personalised learning plan at the start of the programme, with clear objectives and study priorities: you will focus only on the areas most relevant to your level and goals, ensuring efficient and targeted progress.

  • Lessons aligned with learning objectives

Independent study is supported by our exclusive video courses, made by Veronica Altana, with clear guidance on which of the 200+ lessons best align with your learning objectives and progress.

  • Monitored study activity

Study activity on the platform is monitored by our teaching staff, allowing them to identify progress, recurring errors, and areas of difficulty, and to adjust guidance and focus as needed.

  • One-to-one sessions with a teacher

Monthly individual sessions with a teacher focused on consolidating independent study, addressing difficulties, and developing confident, effective use of Italian.

  • Live group lessons with a teacher

Twice-monthly live teacher-led group lessons, aimed at improving listening comprehension and speaking skills through topics related to Italian culture.

  • Study community and ongoing support

Access to our learning community, a dedicated space for asking questions, interacting with other learners, and receiving ongoing support throughout the programme.

  • Monthly progress report

A monthly report with feedback on progress, areas for improvement, and next objectives, designed to guide study choices and support ongoing development throughout the programme.

  • Preparation for official Italian language exams (optional)

As an official CILS examination centre of the University for Foreigners of Siena, we can integrate targeted exam preparation for permesso di soggiorno, Italian nationality, university admission, or employment purposes.

  • Language Level Certificate (CEFR)

Upon completion of the programme, a certificate is issued indicating the language level attained, assessed according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
